I accidentally sent payment multiple times

If you sent the payment more than once (e.g., paid twice or sent extra money):

Step 1: Don't panic

  • Your funds are not lost
  • The extra payment went directly to the seller's payment account

Step 2: Contact the seller

  1. Reach out through your payment platform (Revolut chat, PayPal, Venmo, etc.)
  2. Explain that you accidentally sent multiple payments
  3. Provide details:
    • The amounts sent
    • The dates/times of each payment
    • What you intended to send

Step 3: Request a partial refund

  • Ask the seller to refund the extra amount
  • Be patient - they may need time to verify and process

Step 4: If you can't reach the seller

  • Open a support ticket with:
    • Seller's username/payment ID
    • All transaction amounts and timestamps
    • Screenshots of each payment
  • We will attempt to contact the seller on your behalf

To avoid this in the future:

  • Wait for each transaction to complete before starting another
  • Double-check amounts before confirming payment
  • Don't refresh or restart if a transaction seems slow
